Maskirovka (Russian: маскировка, lit. 'disguise'), a military doctrine developed at the start of the twentieth century. It covers a broad range of measures, from camouflage to denial and deception. A mixed media artwork of a Merekat in a Klu Klux Klan hood, standing on the colours of the Ukraine flag. Originally conceived and made in 2015 after the Russian 'military intervention' in Ukraine. However it still seems as relevant today...  A certain Meerkat is often seen as a thinly veiled reference to a specific Dictator/President. The hood/mask traditionally worn by the KKK was deliberately designed to both conceal and intimidate. But just like the Anteater from the satirical puppet show 'Spitting Image', even in a mask we all know who is behind it...
